All that is needed is a little prairie bonnet……

…..and well maybe an apron!  This little child’s kitchen play set is the perfect  addition to your prim décor. How nice is it to have a child's toy that isn’t plastic, or pink, and you don’t have or hide it because it doesn't go with your décor??!! This is something that could become a family heirloom. Handed down to the next generation for years of enjoyment!

These kitchen sets are just some of the custom products that  hubby and I create. The one in the picture is one that we have in our home, for our grandchildren to play with when they come to visit. It goes with our home well and provides  plenty of creative interactive playtime. The stove  has two burners for “cooking” ,  moveable knobs, and  an oven door that opens with shelves underneath. There is also a sink  for the dishes, with moveable faucet handles. Under the sink is  a red over black prim cabinet with black strap hinges. Above the sink is a hand painted window scene with a little ledge. Next to the window is a hand made stitchery with a black frame.

Above the stove is a spice cabinet, complete with hand painted “wooden spices”.  Also includes is a “crock” spoon holder and  a small flower. The details are just amazing.

However if you do prefer pink, and what little girl doesn’t??!! We  have also made a few more custom kitchen sets that are a little more girly. This one here is  cottage looking and was made for my three year old granddaughter.

Her kitchen was designed with her moms kitchen in mind as to “match” her style of decorating. Moms kitchen is black and red so the little kitchen blends right in instead of sticking out like a “toy”.  It includes the same functions as the previous kitchen but has hand made curtains (fabric by Mary Engelbreit) . One set of curtains over the sink frames the “window”, and behind the curtains, the “window” is actually an 8 x 10 picture of the backyard of the house that my daughter grew up in Back East. This kitchen set also includes a black refrigerator and a towel bar on the side.

Another  kitchen set was designed for a one year old. This one is shorter and has a side table attached, perfect for tea parties! The bottom is designed with room to add trim as to be able to raise it when the child grows. These are gifts that will become permanent fixtures in your home for years to come.

  2. Amazing. Love the first one. My grand daughters have a plastic one. Wish I had room for one here at the homestead for when they come & play with Grandma. Wishing you many sales. The photo of the backyard your daughter played in is a perfect detail to the window scene. Blessings!
